jaycus is able to hold onto the handle of the playpen and stands on his own.. needs more attention on jaycus now.. he is super active and hao lian.. put him in his playpen and he will hold onto the rail and stands.. hehe... jaycus is so cute... think he will wan to learn to walk soon...

13th July 2011 - Jaycus 1st tooth is out

jaycus baobei is going to be 9mth old on 16th oct and his very 1st tiny tooth can be seen on his lower gum... if he continues to have more tooth pop out, he will be able to sit with us for dinner on CNY eve.. who knows he may be the 1st to eat and the last to leave the table.. hehe...

3 days before bao bei Jaycus is 6 mth old.. he finally did his 1st flip... when Jaycus is 4mth old, PD jokingly says it will b difficult for Jaycus to flip due to his size n weight.. but i keep encourage him to flip.. n after so long.. today.. he flips in his playpen.. happen to quickly n so no time to grab camera to snap.. hehe.. he is now also trying to sit up but still cannot.. hehe....

i am going to update all abt my 2 baobeis.. i realise i have been neglecting my blog but update on facebook.. 1 thing good abt a blog is i can always scroll back n look at my past blog but for facebook, i have to clicking on older post till i reached wat i wan n in between, there are so many other things that are not wat i wan to find n so it will take a little more time to reach.. i am going to update both of from many mths back so that many years down the road, i can read at which stage did my bao bei achieve wat thing.. hehe

Jaycus is 4 Month old already..

at 4 mth old, Jaycus
1) likes to play with his salivia.. his bib gets wet super fast
2) think he is teething soon coz he is always cranky n wan to bite on his pacifier n milk bottle teats
3) like to sit.. put him on the sofa or bed with support, he can sit quite a while n will be very happy.. esp when u put him in the bumbo seat.. he will b super happy
4) like to put things in his mouth n is very curious with things ard him
5) super smiling baby.. talkative n loves playing... his new game now.. the peek-a-boo game..
6) trying hard to kick forward when he is on his tummy n trying hard to flip
7) can recognise pple ard him.. will push himself fwd if he wan tat person to carry him
8) thinking of feeding him bb cereal but bb advise not at this moment coz he is growing so well n thr's no need to introduce solid so early hehe..
9) he is 9.3kg at 20weeks old...

Updates of Jaycus at 3mth Old

Darling Jaycus is 3mth old....

he can now:
1) flip to half position
2) when put him on the rocker, he attempt to sit up
3) like music and songs
4) able to slep longer in the night and has his own pattern in the day time
5) is always smiling
6) drinking 150ml (5oz) every 2-3hrs
7) love his gor gor.. whenever gor gor hug him or talk to him, he will smile happily
8) know wat time papa is coming home coz he wil be cranky at around 8pm everyday and when his papa reaches home n calls him.. he stops n smiles again
9) has to wear clothes that are 1yr old n above n most of his socks n mittens don fit him anymore..
10) know what is bao bao.. when u clap ur hand n ask if he wan to be carry, he will try to push his body fwd for u to carry him...
11) he is 8.3kg at 3mth plus..

Darling Jaycus is 2mth old.. at 2 mth old..

Jaycus can:
smile and look at the camera
drink 120ml milk every 1.5 to 2 hrs
like to eat his tiny fist
like shower n has his own shower time.. will starts crying when its time to go shower
likes to chat n smile at us
trying to flip n like to b carried like a koala bear
weigh 7.3kg on 18th Dec and
has to wear clothes that are 6 to 9mth old

Jayden is now going to full day child care

Starting from 1st Mar, Jayden has been going to full day childcare.. so far, touched wood.. except for running nose n coughing.. he is adapting well to the life.. so scared he will fall sick more often now that he is going to full day child care.. according to the teacher, the 1st 3days, he will wake up from his afternoon nap n shout papa mummy.. but now he is alright.. he will slp on his own in the afternoon.. i am worried abt his meal n napping but the teachers told me he is adapting well.. n he is able to speak n sing more clearly... n he is so talkative now.. hehe...

Jayden is toilet trained...

before i 4get, i guess i have to jot it down somewhere.. when jayden is 1mth to 2 year old, he is partial toilet trained.. meaning he will tell us he wan to urine n will urine into the pot n not on the floor.. after he is 2 yrs old.. he is fully trained for the day.. i don have to let him put on diaper in the day.. recently, when he is ard 2.5year old (ard 30mth old).. he is total toilet both day n night.. he is no longer using the diaper n he don like us to put diaper for him.. he will take off his shorts n underwear in the day for both urine n shitting n he will call me n tell me he wan to urine in the middle of the night.. so far, only twice tat his bed is wet.. not bcoz he urine onto the bed but its becoz i cannot take the pot to him on time.. after tat.. so far.. no more wetting of bed.. he will wait for me to take the pot for him... good job my darling.. mummy is very proud of u... love u...

Jayden can speak better nowadays

my darling Jayden now speaks better after attending childcare...

1) Jaycus sleeps between me and hubby these few nights ..

ask if Jayden wan slp with us.. he replies.. "no.. didi slp papa mama, den den slps bed bed"
most of the times if Jayden wakes up in the middle of the night, he will climb onto our bed and demands to slp between us but these few nights, he sees didi slping with us.. he will ask me to hug hug him.. after hugging him awhile, he will walk back to his own bed n slp thru the night...

2) Jayden knows if we ask him wear shoes, we won carry and so the other day he refuses to wear shoes..

Us: den, wear ur shoes
Jayden: no need, no need wear shoes
Us: cannot, must wear shoes
Jayden: den den no wan wear shoes, wan bao bao
Us: ok. u wear shoes, papa bao bao u

and he wear his shoes

3) hubby workplace has lion dance on the 6th day of CNY.. hubby took jayden to go watch.. he came back and tell me

Jayden: mama, i go see dong dong chang, ah ma gives dong dong chang eat orange
me: dong dong chang got eat vege?
Jayden: no more vege
me: dong dong chang good boy eat vege, jayden naughty no eat vege
jayden: den den good boy... no wan eat vege (**faint)

now when i ask him wat dong dong chang eats.. he will replies me "ORANGE"

4) whenever we are out and its raining.. jayden will sings "rain rain go away, come again another day" and starts to shout "raining, raining" and cover his head with his hand

5) i am cutting things to cook soup, jayden came to the kitchen n says "for papa eats"... i ask him wat papa likes to eat.. he says "papa like fish"

6) went airport tat day, i want to hold jayden hand but he refuses to let him hold his hand.. he says "den den no wan hold mummy hand.. mummy hand hold papa hand"

7) went to the zoo on the 3rd day of CNY.. he is able to identify many animals in the zoo.. when he sees lions.. he told me "mummy i wan take one go home"

8) today when hubby took him home from sch "papa, i don wan go home, i wan go shopping"

us: "den, gong gong whr??"
jayden: "gong gong go china"
us: "popo go whr"??"

8th Feb 2011 - Jayden & Jaycus Injection

took jayden for his 2nd dose of Hep A jab and jaycus for his 6 in 1, pneumococcal and rotavirus oral jab...

Jaycus is now 68cm and 8.5kg at 3mth +, 7 more days to his 4th mth.. doc chan is very pleased with jaycus size coz she says jaycus is growing well n he looks like a 6-7mth old baby... Jaycus is a brave baby like his gor gor.. even thou he is injected twice on both his thigh.. he nvr cries.. juz a yell n ok already... as for jayden, no weight increase since Jan.. still at 15.5kg... next jab for jaycus will be at end of mar....

6th Jan 2011 - Jaycus Review & Jayden has sore eyes

went back for Jaycus review after using the neubiliser for 4days.. Jaycus weight is now 7.6kg and the clinic assistant Ai Wei says Jaycus is like a piggy.. so cute n chubby hehe...

Doc Chan checks and says there are still phlegm in his nose but his lungs are clear.. she suggests us to let them suck Jaycus mucus and phlegm out coz he is still young and he does not noe how to blow out the mucus and spit out the phlegm.. no choice, we let them suck for him using a machine.. a tiny pipe is inserted into his nose to suck out the mucus and then into his mouth for the phlegm... think its very uncomfortable coz Jaycus is crying throughout the session.. super heartpain to see him like tat.. but after the sucking.. he feels better and falls asleep when i carry him....

fetch Jayden from his cc and his teachers say Jayden's eyes look a bit red... worried it might be sore eyes and so i took him to Doc Chan.. 2 trips to Mt A in a day.. Doc Chan checks on Jayden and give him a bottle of eye drop.. she ask us not to let Jayden goes near Jaycus coz sore eyes can spread... but how not to let Jayden goes near his didi?? he super loves his didi and will wan to hug and sayang him everyday esp when didi is crying... hehe....

03rd Jan 2011 - Jaycus needs to be on neubiliser

Jaycus been coughing with phlegm for a week, brought him to see Doc Chan last week but he still has not recovered and so we took him back to see Doc Chan again.. Doc Chan suggests using the neubiliser for Jaycus coz he is still so young and there's not much medication for him.. we rent the neubiliser from them for 4days and will have to bring jaycus back for a review again on thurs..

Jaycus is very co-operative when we put on the mask for him..

Jayden & jaycus are not feeling well... both are down with flu and cough.. myself n my mum are having running nose n sore throat too..

took both jayden & jaycus to see doc chan after sending my dad off at airport.. i told doc chan these 2 days jaycus is not drinking well.. doc chan see his weight n says "o my, our fren here is overweight.. he has the weight of a 6mth old baby" we all laugh at this comment.. at 2.5mth old, jaycus is weighing 7.8kg.. there's a jiejie waiting to take her weight after us.. she is only 9kg at 1yr old.. hehe.. so doc chan gave both of them medicine and told us not to worry, jaycus lung sound clear n its ok if he is not drinking well these few days due to blocked nose.. hehe...

since yest, jaycus is drinking 120ml every 3 hrs instead of the every 2 hrs... the medicine is making him drowsy, he is sleeping alot n i feel its good.. he can rest n get well soon.. as for jayden.. his running nose n cough is better today....

Jayden will stop going to Child Care for a month

since he goes childcare, he's been falling sick.. thou not very serious illness but he is always having running nose n cough.. my mum very heartpain to see her grandson taking so medication at such young age n so she ask us to stop letting jayden to sch for the time being.. she is in sin now n so she wan to nurse jayden back to health 1st.. i called the sch n told them my worries.. the principal advise to me.. let him stop for a mth 1st.. she ask me to bring jayden back to sch on 23rd Dec for the sch xmas party.. n so from today onwards, jayden is staying at home till 23rd dec.. hope he will wan to go back sch after tat...

26th Nov 2010 - Jaycus is 40days old

jaycus is 40days old today.. brought him to see Doc Chan coz he poos more than 3 times everyday n his stools is very yellowish n sticky.. we have change his formula twice from similac to friso but its not improving.. Doc chan advise us to change his formula to either enfalac H.A or NAN H.A... i am going to let him try enfalac H.A... since Jaycus is going to b 6 wks soon, we let him take his 1st dose of 6-in-1 at the same time.. Jaycus is n0t as brave as jayden.. he cries n shouts very loudly at the jab.. n when we touch his tiny wound.. he will wail a bit.. hehe.. poor baby....

15th Nov 2010 - End of my Confinement & Jaycus is 1 month old

today marks the 30th day since i deliver.. i can say bye bye to my confinement.. my mum takes very good care of me.. every meal without fail is ginger n wine n sesame oil.. becoz i delivered thru c-sect this time round, my mum cook mostly fish for me.. thou i get bored with the food sometimes but i will finish it up to show that i appreciate her cooking n effort to cook for me.. she knows i am very scare to put on more weight n so this time round she cooks me brown rice most of the time...

jaycus is a cute baby.. he smiles easily n loves it when we chit chat with him.. he will coo back n sometimes eeh eeh back too.. jayden loves his didi too.. he will wan to carry him everyday n will wan to kiss him.. we don allow him to kiss didi coz he is having running nose.. we are happy that jayden loves didi...

Jaycus is having blocked nose.. me, hubby n jayden are having running nose n cough.. n jaycus caught the flu virus from us.. poor bb jaycus.. falling sick at such a young age.. took jayden to see doc chan n at the same time we let jaycus see doc chan too.. jayden is having very bad running nose.. but is glad he is still playing n eating well.. as for jaycus.. he is given nose drop to clear his nose n his weight is taken today.. he is weighing 5.8kg at 33 days old....

12th Nov 2010 - Update on Jaycus

Jaycus is going to be 1 month old soon.. at his age.. he is developing well, drinking well n sleeping well.. he will smile when we play with him sometimes.. he is attempting to flip when he cries sometimes when we put him down in his bed or playpen.. he wants to hold his own bottle sometimes too..

he is currently drinking 90ml FM every 1.5 to 2 hrs.. the suggested feeding on the milk is 120ml every 4 hrs.. hehe... i have stopped BF him yesterday.. my milk flow is dropping to 50ml per pump.. n the max i can pump out since he is born is only 120-150ml.. he is not having enough and will cry for more milk after each pump.. my mum is very nice.. she tries all ways n means to help me increase my milk flow by cooking me food like long bean, peanut soup, papaya soup, more fish.. still no help.. my sis even go herbal shop n get me chinese herbs to increase milk flow oso no use.. i take fenugreek.. oso no help.. haiz.. but at least this time round..jaycus has more milk to drink than jayden n i have pump or latch him on for almost a mth thou the milk vol is so little.. hehe...

its a week since i deliver and its time for me to go for my wound review at Doc Ang.. Doc Ang checks on my wound.. it has healed nicely.. i was given a cream to apply twice a day to the wound.. n to go back for a pap smear test 2 mths later...

and i dropped 10kg after giving birth...

brought jaycus to his 1st checkup at Doc Chan.. when he discharges on tue, his weight is 3.63kg and when we are at Doc Chan, his weight is now 3.94kg.. doc chan checks on Jaycus's jaudice, she says that its beta now.. is happy that Jaycus is growing well and is feeding well...

update on my breastmilk.. i am not latching Jaycus onto my breast coz he is not sucking on well but he is always sucking and biting on my nipples, causing me pain n sore nipples.. the pain is so unbearable that i decide to latch him on n off and most of the time i will pump out the milk n feed him thru bottle... so far i can pump out at least 60ml per pump but it is not increasing yet.. have taken fenugreek, hopefully it will help me in increasing my milkflow soon... i told darling, i will persist to feed Jaycus breastmilk for at least a mth even if my milkflow is little coz i feel bad tat i am unable to feed Jayden breastmilk when he is a baby.. my milkflow when Jayden is a baby is so bad till the most i can get is only 40-60ml in the morning n it will decrease each pump.. i will jia you n be determined for at least a mth

the Day is here.. BB Jaycus is going to say Hi to us later...

i am scheduled for the c-sect at 11am and is advised by my gynae to admit myself into the hospital at 8am.. and so i woke up at 6.45am, had a long shower coz i am not going to have shower n washing hair for the next few days.. we left home at 7.30am and reach Mt A at 8am..

the staff is quick n prompt with my registration and i was directed to my ward by 1 of their staff... i was shaved n medicine pushed into the anus for me to go toilet at 8.30am.. after that, the nurse came and ask me lots of questions on my health, etc.....

i was then asked to wash myself clean again n changed into the hospital robe.. waiting for the time to come....

i was pushed to the OT at 10.30am and at around 11plus, i fall asleep... Jaycus is born but i nvr get to see him straight at birth.. papa is the 1st to see him and i have instructed him to take pic of Jaycus for me to see...

the nurses are very sweet.. they know how much i wan to see my darling n so they pushed him to me at 2pm for me to take a look at him n to breastfeed him for the 1st time..

si gim, shuping n shuxian came to see us at 3plus.. Jaycus is still at the nursery when they came.. after a while, we are allowed to bring Jaycus out and they are very happy to see Jaycus...

i am super exhausted after the op and so look at my tired face.. i was drowsy the whole day...

i going for c-sect tmr and darling is so sweet.. he calls me in the evening.. ask me to tell my mum not to cook our dinner, he is bringing me out for a feast b4 i go deliver.. he says after this meal i have to wait for 100days b4 i can start feasting on everything again hehe....

my grandma had a fall last week and b4 we go for our dinner.. we went to see her with my mum.. she is better juz tat her left arm needs to be in cast... after visiting my grandma, its already 9plus and so darling suggests going swensens at airport for dinner since we are at bedok reservior road.. thou dinner is not really a great feast but i am very happy too coz i am glad darling made the effort to bring me out for a nice dinner b4 i deliver tmr.. thanks darling.. muaks...

Scenario 1: i am very tired and wan to slp

Jayden will help me close the door and he will play downstairs with my mum or the maid and will not disturb me...

Scenario 2: We go shopping

tat day we went shopping and normally when we arrive, darling will come to the back and carry Jayden down. Tat day he was waiting for papa to carry him and he says "papa bao bao.. mama bao bao didi"

Scenario 3: Jayden is eating Lolipop

Jayden is eating the lolipop and we ask him to share with my grandma.. he take his sweet out, smell it and say "chou chou".. hehe.. i think he is telling my grandma... this sweet sweet smelly, u don eat ok.. hehe....

14th Oct 2010 - Last Checkup before i deliver

went to Doc Ang for the last checkup before i deliver Jaycus.. my initial choice is to go for lower body epidural (FA) so that i can see Jaycus the very moment he is born but in the end i change to put to sleep (GA).. reason for the change?? ever since i decide to go for FA, i have not been sleeping well and eating well.. even my mum can sense and see that i am very nervous and scare.. whenever i talk abt c-sect, my face will turn green.. even Doc Ang and her assistant Julie can see i am very tensed up and scare.. and so Doc Ang advise me to go sleep.. no point getting worried over this n so scare... even darling oso ask me to go to sleep.. he sees me so scare he oso heartpain hehe...

latest update on Jaycus.. he is 4.1kg today.. Doc Ang is expecting him to be 4.5kg when born.. hehe...

11th Oct 2010 - Checkup at 38 weeks

BB J is 3.6kg at 38 weeks... from the scan, bb j is growing bigger..

way before i reached 38 weeks, gynae has adviced me to be induced on 38 weeks and so when she sees me today.. her 1st question to me is whether i am ready to be induced anot? i replied her we check on baby 1st then we decide.. so we proceed on to check on baby.. she is very shocked when she do the scan for bb j coz bb j head is big and his weight is growing.. hehe.. bb j has a head size of a 41 weeks baby.. the exact length i cannot rem and his weight is now 3.6kg.. hehe.. many babies are not this heavy even when they are born at 40 weeks.. hehe...

we then sat down n discuss.. gynae hopes i can try for natural birth by inducing since i delivered Jayden thru natural birth but she says she is not 100% confident that i can delivered bb j thru natural birth successfully and so may need to have emergency c-sect if my cervic is not dilate or for some other reasons.. i told her i will think abt it 1st since bb j is not ready to be out yet.. so we fix to see her again next mon..

after we left the clinic.. hubby asks if i wan go for c-sect anot.. he feels that i won have the strength n ability to push bb j out since bb j is now so huge.. i am very confused at that very moment.. i am very happy that bb j is growing so well inside but i am very scare too... 1 side of me is asking me to go try natural but another side of me is saying.. go c-sect lar.. don waste time n $$ lar.. bb j is so huge and wat if i cannot deliver him naturally then i have to pay for both natural birth n c sect.. and furthermore.. $$ is not the only issue here.. i have to go thru 2 sides of pain... hmm.. i am very scare.. the pain of cutting.. o gosh.. i was not even this scare when i deliver jayden.. but now i can feel the tension..

i then seek advice from si gim n steph.. their reply.. go c-sect.. after hearing advice from them... we decide to have bb j out thru c-sect and before that, hubby and me have an agreement.. if i ever had to deliver our bb thru c-sect, we will go to you long zi (a fengshui master) for a c-sect date.. hubby calls him straight and make appt.. we are lucky tat we can go see him immediately and after seeing him.. we are given 3 dates..

1) 20th Oct 2010
2) 16th Oct 2010 - he says this is the best date
3) 18th Oct 2010 - he asks us to choose the 1st 2 dates.. this date is a standby.. incase both dates cannot..

we choose 16th oct coz we are worried bb j might juz pop out anytime from now hehe... have to call gynae tomolo to check if she is avaliable on this date for c-sect anot.. if not i will have to wait till 20th oct.. i hope bb j won b out so soon b4 the dates.. hehe..

last nite.. jayden is feeling feverish at 38.5degrees and he keeps pointing to his mouth n says pain pain.. and he is refusing milk due to the pain..

this morning we took him to the doc.. Doc Chan says jayden is having throat infections and having 1 ulcer at the side and 2 inside the throat.. she says its not HFM this time round but she advise us to let Jayden stay at home to rest 1st.. mayb next week then let him goes back to sch...

this jayden.. don like to drink water and eat fruits... how not to fall sick easily.. guess its time for him to take vitamins pills... haiz... i hope jaycus won be like gor gor.. i always envy those parents whom their kids love to drink water.. my jayden juz simply don like water.. sometimes apple juice or ribena he still wan but not alot.. haiz.. haiz......

went for a checkup today... bb j is growing well with a weight of 3.033kg... thou bb j only grows a bit for the past 2 weeks.. but his head is already deep down and we are all expecting bb j to be out pretty soon... Doc Ang oso check for dilation.. i am not dilated yet and the water level inside is still high and so i can still wait until bb j is ready to come out...

my blood pressure is high today and doc ang wants me to monitor myself for signs of headache that won't go away and to go to a GP this sat morning to check on my blood pressure again.. if i have headache that won't go away or blood pressure is still high on sat morning then i will have to go see her immediately and she will have to induce me for bb j to be born...

hubby is even cuter.. he says he got a feeling.. bb j is coming out on this fri.. i ask him why?? his reply is... coz i am very busy on fri at work.. hehe....

i hope bb j will be out on either the 6th or 10th.. if bb j is out on the 6th then we can celebrate bb j's 1st month and my birthday together on the 6th Nov... and if bb J is out on 10th... then his date of birth is gonna be a perfect 10... 10/10/2010... nice numbers....

now that i am counting down to delivery.. i really wanna thanks god for giving me a smooth pregnancy this time round.. when i have jayden.. i have bleeding and low placenta problem.. but with jaycus.. everything is fine and normal... no bleeding n placenta problem..

i have very very very little morning sickness.. i think i vomit less than 10 times only... but i have very jia lat heartburn..

like when i have jayden.. i have 1 leg cramp tat day...

ok appetiate with not much cravings.. i eat almost anything tat is safe for me n baby

can walk around n do exercise with jaycus.. when i have jayden tat time.. i have to rest n lie in bed coz of the bleeding n low placenta...

jaycus has made my pregnancy smooth sailing.. will he be as good when he is born.. will he be a good baby to take care of?? hehe..

this morning.. after being preg with Jaycus for 35weeks.. i experienced my 1st leg cramp.. stop and come 3 times... super pain.. i was screaming at the pain n darling jumps up.. he tot i am delivering... wahaha... thanks darling is around.. he help me ease the pain and massage my leg..

o ya... doc ang has called me yest that my discharge test show that i am not having any infections.. thanks goodness for that.. i don wan to take any antibiotics... hehe...

中秋节快乐.. this year i suggested to have a bbq with my family.. initial plan is to go East Coast Park but kids have to attend sch the next day.. if we go too far.. they cannot stay and play for long.. and so after some considerations.. we decide to have our BBQ at Punggol Park...

it was raining cats & dogs at 4plus.. and i am so worried that we have to cancel this bbq.. but thanks god.. the rain stop at 5plus.. and we continue with the plan.. my dad is the 1st to reach to help us start the fire.. hehe.. thanks daddy....

we have also invited my god auntie and her family.. steph & melvin.. my parents' hangout khakis.. my future bro in law's family.. my ILs has initially say want to come but bcoz my FIL is not feeling well.. they last min did not turn up...

Had a checkup at Doc Ang today.. bb J is now 2.94kg and a size of a 36weeks plus baby.. doc Ang says.. didi is bigger than gor gor.. ya indeed.. when i deliver Jayden at 35weeks.. he is only 2.83kg at birth but didi at 35 weeks is already heavier than him.. hehe...

to deliver naturally, a discharge test was done and my discharge is a bit yellow and so doc ang says if i have any infection... i may have to take antibiotics..

she advises me not to walk too much.. have to rest more... she hope i won deliver so soon as she is not ard from sun to wed.. thou she has standby another doc for but we are hoping bb won come out so soon too.. wait for doc ang to be back... i prefer to let doc ang deliver bb.. hehe...

these few nights i cannot slp well.. i will even dream of myself going into labour.. this nvr happen when i have Jayden.. but with bb J, somehow i feel tensed up and a bit scare... funny rite.. 2nd labour and i feel scare wahaha.. mayb i am excited too.. hehe..

i am oso worried that i am not able to cope with 2 kids.. i am not sure if i can handle both of them well anot.. with Jayden alone.. there's not a prob for me.. but with a new born baby and Jayden.. i am feeling very tensed up and a bit worried.. i am hoping now.. bb J will b delivered safely and will b a good baby.. eat and slp, eat and slp.. juz like Jayden when he is a baby..

30th Aug 2010 - 32 week gynae checkup

BB J is 32 weeks old today.. went to Doc Ang for checkup.. from the scan, bb J's head is the size of a 36 weeks baby and his body is a 34 weeks baby... BB J today is 2.25kg.. slightly lighter than Jayden whom is 2.5kg at 32weeks inside me.. but still, doc ang says bb j is a huge baby too.. she is very worried that i might deliver early like Jayden.. i delivered Jayden at 35 weeks.. and tat is 3 weeks later.. she ask me to go see her again on my 35weeks..

bb j is at head down position, water bag still has lots of water in it and bb j is growing up well inside me.... i am hoping bb j won come out so early.. i hope he can at least come out after 38weeks.. so that he can b a well growth n huge bb hehe....

31 weeks preg.. if bb J wan to come out 5 weeks earlier like his gor gor.. then in another 4 weeks, we will be carrying bb J in our arms.. but.. i am hoping i can go thru the normal preg pharse of at least 38 weeks.. if better still.. 40 weeks then he comes out.. hehe..

i have been experiencing short pull of menses cramp liked ard my tummy.. i think its braxton hicks.. many whom see my tummy now will say.. " you delivering soon?? my tummy is so huge that i myself feel its big.. hehe..

4th Day
there are one red spot on jayden's cheek, sole, finger & stomach.. apart from the appearing of the red spot.. he is having ulcer on his the other side of the mouth coz today when he says pain... he is pointing to the other side of his mouth.. am glad he is not refusing drops n cream for his ulcers.. in fact.. he will open his mouth when i tell him.. mummy put medicine for u and u won feel pain.. hehe.. he is drinking lots of water esp when he feels pain in his mouth.. his appetiate is better today.. he can finish 180-210ml milk, slightly more than 1/2 bowl of porridge for lunch, a stick of cheese for tea-time & a bowl of fried rice that i cooked for dinner

5th Day
the red spot on his finger n sole disappear today.. the 1 on his stomach is lightening.. only the 1 on his cheek is still red.. his ulcers are better coz he seldom say pain today and when u ask him.. ur mouth pain anot? he will reply u.. no more.. appetiate better than yesterday.. he can finish 210-240ml milk, more than 1/2 bowl of porridge for lunch, a piece of cake for tea time & 1 bowl of porridge.. my sis came to see him in the evening and got him fishball.. he loves fishball..

today is his 3rd day of HFMD.. think his ulcers are recovering coz unlike the last 2 days he seldom come crying to me saying pain pain and pointing to his mouth.. he is playing n laughing happily juz like his usual self but he will get cranky sometimes n started to cry non-stop.. he is very sticky to me n darling these 2 days.. esp to darling.. he will cry for a long time and difficult to sooth him down when darling is not ard.. and he can't slp well at nights... these 2 nights i can only slp in the morning at ard 5am coz he wan to be patted to slp by me and when i stop... he will wake up and cry for mummy..

he has slim down alot and his weight has obviously dropped coz he is so much lighter when i carry him.. he used to drink at least 240-300ml milk but these 2 days.. he is only drinking 120-150ml milk and the most he can finish is 180ml.. i am giving him porridge these 3 days coz of his ulcers at the throat.. i scare it will b difficult for him to swallow if i give him rice.. before he is sick.. he can finish 1 whole bowl of porridge but these 2 days.. he is taking less than 1/2 a bowl...

will have to nurse him back to his weight of 14.5kg before he falls sick.. i really hope he can get well soon.. i think he is missing the days of going gai gai.. coz he will stand at the door and cry gai gai.. but for the sake of other kids.. i cannot be so wicked hehe.. i cannot bring him out.. poor boy...

17th Aug 2010 - Jayden has HFMD

sun.. jayden is still actively running n playing.. we went shopping at vivo and since its only 8pm.. we decide to bring jayden to ah gong hse.. he was happily playing on the slide n going up n down the stairs n playing with ah gong n ah ma.. suddenly... his whole body feels warm n we left to go home at 10pm.. took his temp when we are home.. its 39degrees.. gosh.. he is having fever.. let him take medicine n pat him to slp.. whole nite.. i am monitoring his temperature.. feeding him medicine every 4hrs.. temp dropped a bit but still having fever...

mon.. his fever still have not subside.. took his temp at 7am.. it went up to 39.5 degrees.. let him take medicine n make appt for him to go see doc.. he got watery stools n was vomitting the last few days.. doc check on his mouth n says he got throat infection as his throat is very red and his fever could be due to throat infection.. given him medicine n his fever is better.. up n down but not to as high as 39degrees..

tue.. the whole nite.. i nvr get to slp at all coz jayden is wailing the whole nite.. he wil slp n suddenly cry n shout.. n demand me to pat him the whole nite.. was super tired n lucky my maid took care of him in the morning when he wakes up so that i can slp.. when i wake up.. jayden came crying to me pointing inside his mouth n say pain.. my maid say she saw a pimple like dot on the side on jayden mouth... i ask him to open his mouth n i saw it too.. quickly called darling n ask him to come back to bring jayden to see doc again.. i scare HFMD.. doc examined him n says his whole throat has got ulcers.. she has to classified jayden for HFMD thou he got no red spots on his hands n feets as its the high peak now. i quickly inform jayden's childcare.. thought mayb he got it from sch but the principal says their last case is 2 weeks ago n that kid only came back for lesson after being certified by doc that he/she has recovered.. so i have absolutely no idea whr he got it from.. i do hope it's not HFMD since he got no red spots...

i called up gynae on my risk.. she says the risk is high for initial preg.. i am stable now n quite safe but i have to make sure i don't get fever.. need to go see her as soon as i got fever.. will monitor jayden n myself closely...

i am into the 3rd trimester and today we had an appointment to see doc ang to check on bb j.. had a grown scan today.. the scan shows that bb j is growing well, tall n big..

he now has a weight of 1.5kg..

normal baby at this week is abt 1.2-1.3kg.. n he is 2 weeks bigger in size.. meaning.. instead of 28 week size baby.. he has a size of a 30 week baby... doc ang advise that if baby continues to grow at this stage.. most prob she will have to induce me at 38 weeks coz she would like me to have natural birth this time round too..

after some considerations, we decide to enrol Jayden for halfday childcare and slowly we will let him go for a full day childcare..

today is his 1st day.. he is a bit sticky to me still.. but will join his classmates n teachers in singing n story telling.. since today is his 1st day.. i stay with him throughout.. tomolo.. i am going to disappear a while.. hehe.. i hope he can get used to life at childcare soon..

he is able to feed himself n join his classmates for breakfast and lunch.. but he never had alot.. i guess most prob he is not used to their food yet.. hopefully he will get used to it and eat alot during meals..

he is super tired today.. he slept at 8.30pm.. been a super long time since he slpt so early..

jayden had a fall from my bed last sat and has a blue black patch on his left eye n the corner of his left eye has a red injury... many are telling me to bring him to the doc to check on his eyes.. so to play safe.. we brought him to the doc to check his eyes.. Doc Chan did a check on his eye and say he is fine.. only external injuries and his eye is fine..

since hep a injection is for 2 yrs and above.. we let jayden has his 1st dose of Hep A injection.. the next dose will be on end of Jan 2011...

o ya.. i am super angry with this China mother we met at the clinic.. her son is not feeling well and vomitted.. jayden being helpful and kind went to look at him.. o u can say he is busybody too... this mother push my son on his shoulder hard and he almost fall down.. and the most stupid thing is... i never argue with this stupid mother... strange rite... i oso donoe y... super angry lorz.. y can't she juz ask my son to go away.. who gives her the rite to push my son.. she is damn rude oso lorz.. talk loudly to the son and when her son is vomitting into the plastic bag she brings.. she pat or shall i say hit on his back hard to get him to vomit more.. n after seeing doc.. u can hear her loud voice telling her son.. u sick again i bring u come hospital injection again... and when her son wan milk.. she tells him... i give u milk.. u vomit again.. so is she not going to feed her son?? super angry lorz.....

whenever papa is off or at home... papa will be the one to look after jayden.. he will play, shower, change, etc jayden.. n jayden loves it when papa is at home..

he will play with papa.. tell papa he wan shh shh when he wan to urine.. n will say papa mm mm when he passes motion.. but the thing is.. whenever papa changes his diaper.. he will say shh shh or mm mm.. n papa cannot stand him.. last nite was even more funny.. jayden juz had his 300ml milk 30mins ago but he tell papa he wants milk again.. n was crying for milk.. so no choice.. papa made him 90ml more.. he takes a sip n don wan the milk already.. papa almost faint hehe.. hehe...

Jayden is a darling.. he will wakes me up everyday as a alarm.. he will calls 'mummy' and give me a bright sunshine smile everyday.. sometimes i pretend not to hear him n turn my back to face.. he will force me to turn over to face him and sometimes i pretend not to open my eyes.. he will force my eyes opened..

he still behaves like a baby sometimes.. we are now training him to slp on his own by letting him slp on a mattress beside our bed but he still wan to slp between me and papa.. and so normally we will pat him to slp between us and when he has fallen asleep.. we will carry him to his mattress but he will sometimes wake up and lug all his pillow to slp between us and sometimes he will pat on me and call mummy then fall asleep on me..

recently, i will ask the maid to look after and play with Jayden in the morning when he wakes up.. she will help shower and feed him sometimes too.. many are saying.. "don't let ur child gets too close to ur maid" but i have my own reason.. the reason for this is tat i wan to train my maid to be able to take care of Jayden when i am in confinement so tat she can assist my mum when i am having my confinement.. i don wan to tire my mum.. taking care of a new born is already so tiring.. and also i am too heavy pregnant to take care of Jayden.. i cannot stand too long as i wil get giddy and i cannot bend now too much.. and so i am glad she is able to help me now... but then all these are juz temp coz Jayden will be going to half day child care in aug and when he comes back in the afternoon.. he will have his nap n things i think will be much more easier to handle...

after my confinement.. i will have more time for my 2 kids... my wish now is that bb J will be like Jayden when he is a baby.. so easy to take care.. eat, slp, eat slp.. hehe...

i feel so blessed whenever i see Jayden smiling n playing happily and when bb J is kicking n moving inside me..

back from my 24 weeks checkup.. BB J now weighs 600g and from the scan, doc ang says tat bb has round chubby face and sharp chin..

i was asked to control my appetiate and weight coz i gained 3kg in a month.. doc ang advise me to control so that i won get diabetics.. if i still gain so much weight next mth.. i have to go for glucose test.. pain pain.. i don't want....

overall.. everything is good.. bb J is growing well too..

i was telling papa abt si gim & si gu.. si gim says si gu left eye has Y n right eye has X (YX = yuxuan, their darling princess) and has no more room for her.. so i told papa.. u oso.. left eye Jayden, right eye bb J.. whr can i stand?? papa reply immediately without thinking.. mummy is on the left & right of my specs.. hehe

so last nite.. daddy was kissing his 2 darling, Jayden after he's aslp n on my tummy for bb J.. so i ask papa.. y u nbr kiss mummy.. know wat papa reply??

coz papa don wear specs when he's sleeping... dionk... faint.. but we had a good laugh at this after tat.. hehe...

Jayden is going to be 2 years old in another 6 days... time flies.. like juz celebrated his 1st bday and now we are going to celebrate his 2nd bday..

at his age of 2, jayden can speak a lot of single word and can repeat some words after us but he is not speaking in sentences yet.. have check with PD on this and she says as long as Jayden can speak more than 50 single words, he is on the rite track.. but is Jayden really not slow in speech?????

Jayden know lots of animals now.. he can recognise and say the correct name for many animals

Jayden can count?? hmm.. ya.. he will say 1.. then 8.. hehe..

Jayden can recognise shapes? Yes.. he know circle, square and star

Jayden can recognise colours?? Yes.. he know orange, black, blue and purple

Jayden know alphabets?? i not sure coz he haven say A B C yet..

Jayden can point and say different body parts.. he knows eyes, nose, ears, mouth, head and when u ask him where is ur chest, belly and backside, he will point at the correct place

Jayden is very sweet to me, he will call sayang me when he accidently hit me or when i tell him "mummy pain pain"..

Jayden is very sticky to me and his papa.. whenever daddy is home.. mummy can rest liao ... coz he is very sticky to his daddy... Sometimes, when he nvr see me ard for a while, u can hear him shouting for mummy but Jayden is a very understanding boy.. he know mummy needs to go school and whenever i go school or go out, i will tell him "mummy go sch, u at home n be good ok".. he seems to understand n will not cry for me

Jayden knows he is going to have a didi soon coz when i point to my tummy and ask him who is this.. he will say didi.. and when u ask him to kiss didi.. he will kiss on my tummy

Jayden fav past time?? he loves to play with balls/cars/thomas/toys in his playpen, flip and read books, watching his dvd and watching a taiwan entertainment show on bowling host by Hu Gua..

Jayden loves music but don like to sing.. he will clap hand and dance whenever we on any songs but he juz won open his mouth and sing.. darling says Jayden is like him.. don like to sing

jayden can climb up and down the stairs w/o us holding his hand steadily but we will still hold on to his hand whenever we climb up n down the stairs

Jayden can be independent at times.. he will play on his own n will not bother me..

Jayden loves school.. when u ask him if u wan go sch.. he will say aiii (Yes) and when we reach sch.. he will go in on his own..

Jayden can recognise road well.. take him to somewhr once and you ask him where the next time u r thr again.. he can point at the correct direction

Jayden know that pple ard him need to go work coz when u ask him where is who or who, he will tell u.. go work work

jayden can drink straight from a cup

feeding wise:
he can now slp thru the nite and will wake up 7-8am for 240ml milk but once in a while, he will wake up ard 4-5am and i will give him 180ml milk
at ard 10am, sometimes, i will give him biscuits and a stick of cheese, depending on the time he wake up coz sometimes he can slp till 10.30am
have quite a big bowl of porridge for lunch at ard 11.30am to 12pm
240ml at 2pm before he naps for 2-3 hrs
will give him half boiled egg on alternate days when he wake up from his nap
will have rice or porridge for dinner at ard 6.30 to 7pm
sometimes when we are having dinner, he will sit with us for another small bowl of rice
last feeding of 300ml milk+cereal for him at 10-10.30pm

Jayden fav food, half boiled egg, plain rice, buscuits sweets, cheese, yakult, grapes

these are some of the things i can think of now.. Jayden is shouting for me again.. got to go....
